2024 SPRING RUNNING

04.24: RUNNING REGISTRATION UPDATE

We have a few more spots opened for the Tues/Thurs 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM practice time. Starts this week, but we can still get you in if you hurry. Come learn all about running and finish the season with a 5K! Open for K-5th. Please reach out if you're interested.

2024 Tracyton Pee Wees Running
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Tracyton Running for those new to Tracyton Pee Wees, and returning Pee Wees and Families. We are so excited for this, our 1st season - 2024 Running Season!

Running will be in full swing this coming week of April 22nd when practices will begin. Coaches will touch base with their team regarding the practice schedule and team details shortly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We currently only have 1 team and therefore 1 practice time for Running. If there are families who desire another practice option, we need more coaches. Please reach out if you are interested or if you know of a family member and/or someone who may be willing and able to coach.

Communications

GAMECHANGER APP AND TEAM PAGE

The GameChanger mobile App will be the primary communication tool with your team. It is a centralized location for team management which includes rosters, scheduling, in-app messaging, photo sharing, live video streaming, and score updates. https://gc.com/

NOTE: When creating an account in GameChanger, it will need to be the same email address associated with your Sports Connect account.

The Team Page can be accessed by logging in to your Sports Connect account and clicking on the link on the dashboard to your Team Page. The link is also provided in the Team Update email notification when your Player was assigned a team.

From your Team Page and Team Central you can see Schedules, Roster, Team and Club News, Photos and Standings.

For privacy reasons, Team Pages and Team Central are only visible to registered team players, personnel, and parents that have been allocated to that team by a Club Administrator.

Uniforms

Club Provided Running Gear: Running athletic T-shirt. Shirts are for the end of season 5K and can also be worn during practices if desired. Shirts will be given out near the beginning of the running season.

Parent Provided Running Gear: Athletic Shoes (running shoes preferable), athletic shorts/pants (not sweats), athletic shirt (if not using issued athletic shirt at practices), extra warm layer for cold weather. Runners should also bring water and, if necessary, wear sunscreen (apply before practice).

Tracyton Pee Wees 5K

Our end of season finale will be our 5K. Runners will practice and train for this event throughout the running season. The Tracyton 5K will be run by our Runners and Community Members.

Registration for the Tracyton 5K is included in their Running fees. Each runner may have a family member, "buddy" runner to run with them if desired (recommended for K-2nd). This registration is also included with the registration dues. Additional family members, friends, and community members are also encouraged to participate. Registration for that event is coming soon!

2024 OHS Running Camp

The 2024 Running Camp sponsored by OHS Cross-Country is scheduled for June 24th - July 31st (3 days/week), at OHS Integrity Stadium. This is open to Runners in incoming grade 6th - 12th grade next school year. $25 per Athlete and includes registration for the Fairgrounds 5K held Aug 3rd. Registration coming soon!

The 2024 Online Running Registration is Open! We are beyond excited to add and introduce our Running Program beginning this coming Spring! Our Running AD, Crystal Whittier, comes to us from Olympic High School Athletics.
