OVERVIEW
Tracyton Pee Wee Sports Association offers a Cheer program for ages 5 through 14. Ages are established according to the player’s Pee Wee age on August 31st. The Cheer program will focus on building basic cheer fundamentals and skills, teamwork, commitment and good sportsmanship as well as showmanship on the sidelines. The Football Cheer Season will begin in July with the possibility to perform at games through to the Championship Football Game scheduled for November 14th.

UNIFORM
Tracyton Cheer will be ordering cheerleading uniforms that will include a shell, skirt and liner. An accessory package will also be ordered and include the briefs, shoes, performance socks, bows, and cheer bag. All these items will be able to be kept by the cheerleader. The program will issue poms at the beginning of the season as well as a warm up set, including pants and jacket for cold weather games. These items will need to be returned at the end of the season in order to have your uniform deposit returned.

Fully paid Registration and Uniform Deposit will be required for uniform issuance.
*Please register early to take advantage of payment plans available to ensure registration is fully paid by July when uniforms will be issued.*

PRACTICE SCHEDULE
There will be a Tracyton Mini Cheer Camp the 3rd weekend of July 17th -19th to build basic skills and routines.
This will allow for participation in the Whaling Days Parade on July 25th .

Regular season practices will begin the first week of August and will be held at the field being utilized by the football teams for families of both athletes, but may also take place at Bunker Field when necessary. Practice will generally be held two times a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with possible Friday practices at Coaches discretion.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Our Cheerleaders will be doing sideline cheer and have half-time performances at selected Saturday football games. The performance schedule will be determined and provided by the Cheer Coach shortly after the Football Game Schedule has posted.

***Depending on registration numbers, there will be an opportunity for a cheer team for each football team. If numbers allow, a team placement “show out” will be scheduled after the mini-camp and teams will be broken up based on age/skill at that time. All teams will still practice as one team and split only for games/performances.***
